It has been completely renovated in the best Provençal tradition with pale yellow facade, blue shutters and a red tile roof and sits in spacious enclosed grounds in a quiet neighborhood. The grounds include a stone terrace in front of the house with lounging and dining furniture and a beautifully landscaped garden with a large lawn, a variety of trees, shrubs and plants, and a lovely pool with a covered terrace. And just steps away are the plane-tree bordered streets and historic sights of lively St-Rémy.
Inside, the house has been wonderfully restored and decorated featuring terra cotta tile floors, colorful tilework, pastel walls, and a combination of contemporary and antique furnishings. The front door opens to an entry hall and to the left, the open-plan living-dining room. Here a tan upholstered sofa and several easy chairs are grouped around a wrought-iron and glass coffee table. Adjacent is the dining area with a French country table and chairs for 6 people. An antique wood chest and a cabinet are warm accents to this inviting room in which there are large windows and French doors opening to the grounds.
An archway from the dining area opens to the well-equipped kitchen with blue cabinets, yellow tilework and all new appliances. To the right of the entry hall are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a wrought-iron bed, ensuite bathroom, and French doors to the terrace. The other two bedrooms share a large bathroom and separate toilet. The bedrooms are all very pretty and feature different color schemes with pastel walls and coordinating curtains and bedspreads. The bathrooms are brand new and beautifully tiled.
