Situated in the heart of the Lubéron and just steps away from the historical center of the village of Goult, this graceful old-stone villa is near all the renowned sights of Provence and an easy drive to Avignon, Aix-en-Provence or St-Rémy-de-Provence. With its narrow passages, arched doorways, and its 14thCentury “Porte”, the fortified village of Goult is not as famous as some others hilltop villages in Provence, but it is as beautifully preserved and authentic and has a very friendly atmosphere.
Set in a splendid and natural garden, the two-story house has a shaded terrace and a patio featuring table and chairs to enjoy “Al Fresco” dining, and a gorgeous swimming pool surrounded by lounge chairs. There’re the perfect spots to chill and relax outside! Inside the attractive villa is beautifully decorated. Contemporary furniture, current appliances and immaculate walls emphasize a refreshed and modern atmosphere while the original terracotta floor and wood-beamed ceilings throughout, maintain an authentic and Provencal charm.
The entry level is into a spacious and bright living room. Three comfortable sofas are grouped around a lovely coffee table in front of an antique fire place. With an appealing wood-beamed ceiling, bold curtains, nice pillows and a lovely carpet, this room creates a cozy and tranquil atmosphere, and a great place to relax and entertain. Adjacent is a well-equipped kitchen with a large dining table and several chairs to prepare and enjoy all your favorite meals.
The villa has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. All four bedrooms feature quality bedding, pretty bedcovers, bedside tables and lamps, and ample wardrobe space. The charming master suite has a king size bed and an en-suite shower room with two sinks. One bedroom has two twin beds, one a full bed and one with a queen, share a fully restored bathroom, completed with a bathtub, a sink and a toilet.
