Location: 9 kms north of Lalinde

Set in the Perigourdine countryside, this old stone house is one of the finest in our portfolio. The grounds feature a graveled courtyard where you can enjoy al fresco dining under the shade of an old chestnut-tree. The garden has ample lounging furniture as well as a marble-topped wrought-iron dining table and chairs set under the tree. Beyond is a lovely swimming pool and beautifully landscaped grounds with lawn, cypress, rosemary, lavender and an array of flowering plants and shrubs.
Inside, the house has been renovated with no expense spared. Traditional architectural features include wood beamed ceilings, stone floors, exposed stone walls and old stone fireplaces. All the building materials, appliances and fixtures are of the highest quality. Lovely fabrics and an array of warm antique pieces create an atmosphere of casual elegance you must experience to truly appreciate. And for your comfort and convenience, there are air-conditioned bedrooms and high-speed internet access.
Entry is into a wonderful French country kitchen with dining area and fireplace. At the far end, the kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, cream-colored cabinets and a center octagonal tile-topped island with cooktop and extra preparation space. Adjacent is the dining room with marble-topped wood table and upholstered chairs. Comfortable armchairs frame the fireplace and offer the perfect spot from which to “supervise” the cook. From the kitchen a door opens to an intimate outdoor terrace behind the house with marble-topped wrought-iron table.
Down a few stairs from the kitchen to the left of the entry is a gracious living room with upholstered sofas, easy chairs, occasional tables and lamps. This is a marvelous room with tremendous style and atmosphere and with French doors opening to the terraces and grounds. Adjacent is a den with additional seating and flat-screen television. There is another small den off the landing on the second floor with several easy chairs, a quiet spot for reading.
There are a total of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The bedrooms are all beautifully appointed with handsome fabrics, lovely bedcovers and curtains, carpets, antique tables and chests. And they are air conditioned for comfort in the warmer months.
Stairs from the dining area lead to two bedroom suites. One is a master suite with king bed, shower, sink and toilet. The other has a queen bed and bathroom with tub, sink and toilet. On the other side of the dining area, another stairway leads to two more bedrooms sharing a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. One is a larger bedroom with king bed. The other has twin beds.
