This stunning 17th-century vigneron’s house is perfectly located right in the center of Meursault, just a few steps from the main square with its cafes, wine-bars, shops, restaurants and weekly market. It’s also a short drive to the historic and lively city of Beaune, the center of the Burgundy wine industry. The picturesque countryside and renowned wine villages of Nuits St-Georges, Pommard , Santenay and Puligny-Montrachet – to name just a few – are all short drives as well.
An extensive and beautifully renovated property with , “La Grande Vigne” (AH129), “la Petite Vigne” (AH133) and “L’Ecurie” (AH134)  that can be rented as one for large groups up to 12 or as three individual houses for smaller groups of 2, 4 or 6 people.(contact us for more information about those 2 others properties for rent) It’s the perfect location for exploring Burgundy’s world famous vineyards.
the cosy living space is full of charm and character with its stone floor, beamed ceiling, wood burning stove, antique furniture, flat screen TV and big comfy sofa. Adjoining is the dining area with round wood table and chairs for 4 people. A counter separates the main living area from the kitchenette equipped with burner cooktop, convection-microwave oven and small refrigerator.
Up the oak stairs to a very pretty and spacious double bedroom which retains its original beams and exposed stone walls and is furnished with beautiful French antiques. There is plenty of storage space and a large en-suite shower room.
A second double bedroom suite, situated on the ground floor can be optionally rented with “La Petite Vigne” by arrangement. This room has a charming ensuite bathroom with shower and is beautifully decorated with Pierre Frey fabrics and wallpaper, antique furniture, and crystal chandeliers.
