This apartment could not be more centrally located, within easy walking distance to all the city's historic sites and monuments. The Louvre, the Palais Royal, the Beaubourg Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, the islands and banks of the Seine are 10 minutes away. A 15-minute walk brings you to the heart of the Marais, the Place de la Concorde, the Opera or the Musée d'Orsay. And the rue Montorgueil, Paris' oldest market street, is just around the corner. Here you can enjoy excellent boulangeries, cafés, wine and cheese shops and a variety of local bistros.

Located in a 19th-century building, the apartment is on the second floor (see note below) with stair access. It is light and bright with large windows in the living areas. A short entry hall leads to the living room with three large windows overlooking the street, one of which opens onto a small balcony with two chairs. The sitting area includes an upholstered sofa and several easy chairs grouped around a coffee table near the fireplace.

To the right of the entry hall is the kitchen, equipped with all appliances and with good counter space by Paris standards. In the kitchen are a small table and two stools. A wooden bar separates the kitchen from the dining area, also with windows overlooking the street. A wood dining table and chairs are set in front of the fireplace.

The apartment has two bedrooms. The main bedroom is to the right of the entry at the end of a short corridor and overlooks an interior courtyard. It has a queen-size bed, large armoire, bookshelves, bedside tables and lamps. This bedroom also has a small desk with computer and high-speed internet access. The second bedroom is just off the entry to the left and has twin beds, a small armoire and luggage rack. It can accommodate two people. However it is small and does not have windows.

Completing the apartment is a large bathroom, easily accessed on the hall just behind the kitchen. The bathroom has both a tub and a shower, double sinks and a toilet.
