This traditional stone house with its honey-colored stone façade, brown wood shutters and sloping roof is located in the heart of the Périgord Noir. Here you're just a stone's throw from some of the region's most celebrated sights, including the hilltop bastide of Domme and the medieval town of Sarlat. River enthusiasts can rent canoes in Grolejac to paddle along the Dordogne River to Beynac and its picturesque medieval fortress.

The property includes a spacious private garden with graveled drive, large lawn and tall trees providing ample shade. To the side of the house is a pretty swimming pool as well as a covered terrace with outdoor lounging and dining furniture. Running along the front of the house is a stone tile terrace, another wonderful spot for leisurely outdoor meals.

Inside, the old stone house has been very well renovated featuring wood-beamed ceilings, tile floors, classic furnishings and all appliances and conveniences. Off the entry hall is an open-plan living dining room with French doors opening to the terraces and grounds. Comfortable seating includes two brick-colored loveseats and several easy chairs grouped by the fireplace. Behind is the dining area with wood farm table and chairs for 6 people. The room is warm and welcoming with colorful carpets, occasional wood tables, chests and lamps. Off the entry to the right is the country kitchen with all appliances, wood cabinets, an antique chest and an oval wood breakfast table. Also on this level is a small study with desk and chair.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bedrooms are all upstairs and are decorated with pretty bedcovers, curtains, side tables and lamps. They all have corner sinks and ample wardrobe space. Stairs from the living room lead to two of the bedrooms. The master has a double bed and a corner shower stall. The other has twin beds. On this level is a tiled bathroom with tub and shower attachment, shower curtain, sink and toilet facilities. Stairs from the study lead to another bedroom with twin beds. There are additional toilet facilities on the ground level.
